Baytrees Nursing and Care Home is situated in a quiet residential road within easy walking distance of local shops, including restaurants, hairdressers and a post office.
Worthing Seafront and pedestrianised Town Centre are about two miles away and boast many places of interest, including two theatres, a library, cinema, parks, gardens and Worthing Pier.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission, the home is fully equipped to provide high levels of nursing care for physically disabled young adults aged from 18-65 and the more elderly, for permanent or respite care. Our experienced nursing and care staff understand the individual needs and attention required by our Service Users and strive to provide the highest possible standard of care within a homely atmosphere.
A large conservatory overlooking the decked garden has full wheelchair access and provides substantial communal space for all.
Our entertainments team organise a diverse range of activities and events to meet the wide and varied tastes of our Service Users.
In house activities include, arts and crafts, exercise classes, barbecues, parties, quiz nights and performances from musicians and travelling drama companies.
We also have our own Minibus, providing regular shopping trips and excursions to places of interest, all of which are advertised on the entertainments notice board. Service Users are also encouraged to pursue their own hobbies and interests.
Our 29 bedroomed accommodation, 10 of which are en-suite, is attractively decorated and well furnished. All are equipped with a 24 hour nurse call system.
All areas of the home are accessible to wheelchair users via ramps and our two passenger lifts.
